| Athena
really impressed us with her fleece.
Super dense, Super Crimpy, full of Luster with extreme staple. Last
year, with her incedible staple length of 6 inches, it was difficult to
see her conformation under all that fiber. When sheared, her beauty was
revealed!
Athena doesn't have the glitzy Accoyo in her name, but in our opinion
she has better fleece than most full Accoyos. SBA Athena has a sturdy
frame with strong bone and a regal presence that is apparent from
some distance away. Athena was shown once as a juvenile and ribboned in
a
LARGE class of 16. She is very easily handled and is a pleasure to have
on the farm.
Her bloodlines speak of proven and recognized quality. Her dam has
produced consistently quality offspring and her sire is a strong, large
macho with a fine handling fleece coverage with a 6" staple in his 4th
year fleece growth. Her grandsires are renowned Canadian Sires.
Jolimont Peruvian Viracocha represents a rare bloodline in
Canada. Athenas sire is Aztec Vira Cruz, a Viracocha offspring, which
is a
large framed male with heavy bone and an extremely fine handling fleece
with an SD of 3.9 and CV of 15.6 with his 4th fleece growth.
Her
first cria, Alpine Star, demonstrates the same fleece quality and
conformation of her mother. Call today to put Athena in your
herd. |
